Stones

Twitter reminded me that yesterday was The Lottery day:

Not to be grim, but…

I started thinking about the rock art the neighborhood children made when the pandemic kept them home from school.

At first, the rocks were placed all around the lake; but they are no longer to be found.

Where did the rock art go?

Bobby Martin had already stuffed his pockets full of stones, and the other boys soon followed his example, selecting the smoothest and roundest stones.
